Letting Jesus Define Your Success: with April Kolman and Josh Cramer at RCB
"Let Jesus define your success and let it be about Him." For the start of our summer series, we're joined by April Kolman and Josh Cramer from Resurrection Covenant Boise, the church they planted in 2021. We hear a bit about their story and their struggles with feeling inadequate and well suited to the task, and relational tension. We also get to hear about some bright spots in their church planting journey as they've watched people from the community come around them and support them, stepped into seasons of bravery and newness, and seen God truly do a new thing like God does in Isaiah. They're incredible guests so full of wisdom and fresh perspective. Listen in!
Josh Cramer is lead pastor of Resurrection Covenant Boise, planted in 2021 with an amazing team. He is fascinated by the justice, revolutionary spirit, and grace of Jesus. Learning to follow our Lord through the joys and wounds of life, he has watched God’s faithfulness and developed a deep reliance on the presence and movement of the Spirit. Josh is a pastor for wounded people and outcasts, a student of God’s Word, and a lover of the full and wild good news of Jesus.
April joined the Leadership Team at Resurrection Covenant Boise in 2021 and quickly answered a call into pastoral ministry. She loves learning about how we can grow our spiritual imaginations to better and more fully experience the Kingdom and all the ways God seeks to restore our relationships to God, ourselves, the world, and each other. A former public school teacher and professor at Boise State University, April lives a full life with her husband, Ryan, their two kids, Mason and Claire, and their dog Sirius and cat Harry. She is an avid reader and loves book matchmaking, so don’t hesitate to ask if you’re looking for your next read.

Soul Care Summit
This year's Soul Care Prayer Summit is happening April 22-24 up at Quaker Hill in McCall. The Summit is for men and women who serve as leaders and missionaries in the Treasure Valley. This is a space created for you as a visionary leader to hear from God and care for your soul–and it's not just for pastors. It's for anyone who has a vision for kingdom transformation in their sphere of influence. We want to create a space for you and your spouse to pray over that, and to pray for our valley together as a unified church trying to reach our communities with the gospel. We're also helping with childcare this year, so let us know on the registration form if that's a need for your family. Go to www.thecitynetwork.org/soulcare to register!
